Palestinians Continue to Harm Temple Mount Antiquities – Oversight on the Mount

editor 5 July 2018

By Nadav Shragai.. The newest crisis looming on the Temple Mount has to do with the waqf’s objection to an observation point erected on top of the Golden Gate to ensure that the Muslims aren’t violating a High Court ruling that protects precious archaeological material. In the summer of 2004, history was made on a small scale in the Supreme Court in Jerusalem when the High Court of Justice ruled in favor of a petition filed by a Jewish group to protect the Temple Mount antiquities. Our Response as Christians to Gaza and Iran

editor 28 June 2018

By Andrew Tucker.. The last two months have seen several extremely important geopolitical developments concerning Israel which are having major impact in the Middle East and globally.

Early May Israeli PM Netanyahu revealed to the world that Israel had stolen files from a secret Iranian depot in Tehran ‘proving’ that Iran is lying in relation to its nuclear weapon programme. Iran responded by firing missiles from bases in Syria towards Israel – fortunately, none landed on Israeli soil. A quiet affair – Israeli Ties with Jordan Kept Quiet

editor 27 June 2018

By Ariel Kahana.. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu knows that the Palestinians are a bigger problem for Jordan than for Israel, and is willing to help King Abdullah as much as he can quietly, while allowing him to play down the vital cooperation between the two countries. Israel handles its relations with the Arab world in the shadows, like a forbidden romance. On Monday (June 18, 2018), King Abdullah of Jordan hosted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Amman. The meeting included many participants. Abdullah and Netanyahu addressed several issues and even signed a general agreement of some kind. Wasatia: The Straight Path from Denormalization to Reconciliation

editor 25 June 2018

By Prof. Mohammed S. Dajani Daoudi.. (Introduction by Dan Biker)  In this article, Professor Mohammed Dajani Daoudi explores the importance of reconciliation and normalization between Palestinians and Israelis. Dajani also elucidates his rejection of the common accusation by Palestinian leaders who brand Israel an apartheid state demanding the severing of all ties with Israel. Dajani notes, “The Israeli policies in general are not similar to those practiced by the white regime that prevailed in South Africa during the Apartheid period, and thus the claim that Israel is an apartheid state does not hold. The Palestinian Authority’s Policy of Denormalization

editor 23 June 2018

By Khaled Abu Toameh.. The Palestinian leadership’s rejection of normalized relations with Israel that were established in 1993 with the Oslo Exchange of Letters between PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat and Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, and the PLO’s subsequent support for the global Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign have created an economic void. Holy only to Jews

editor 23 June 2018

By Nadav Shragai.. “The Western Wall doesn’t belong to the Jews alone,” Labor party leader Avi Gabbay said last week (June 11, 2018) before rushing to walk it back. But maybe we should thank him. The party leader gave us a chance to address another perversion of history, this one intentional – the Palestinian Islamization of the Western Wall – the holy site they long for as one of the walls of Al-Aqsa compound – by categorically denying any Jewish ties to it, just like they do with the Temple Mount and Jerusalem as a whole.
