170 Syrians Were Killed During Three Days This Week — Without Any News Coverage

editor 26 May 2018

By Elder of Ziyon.. On Sunday (May 13, 2018), 114 Arabs were killed. On Monday (May 14, 2018), 30 more. On Tuesday (May 15, 2018), 26 more.

But the media didn’t think that Arabs dying was an interesting story — because those people had the misfortune of being killed by other Arabs. If they had been killed by Jews, then suddenly there would be interest. The Future of Greek-Israeli Relations

editor 12 April 2018

By Dr. George N. Tzogopoulos.. BESA Center Perspectives Paper No. 788, April 8, 2018

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: In July 2010, then Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou visited Jerusalem and met his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu. A few weeks later Netanyahu traveled to Athens and held discussions with Papandreou. The long-term significance of those visits could not be acknowledged at that time. But almost eight years later, it is now clear that those talks were a catalyst for the rapprochement that has occurred between two countries that have had a difficult relationship for decades. Greece and Israel are growing ever closer by establishing a strategic partnership and exploring ways to further deepen it. [Photo top right: Benjamin Netanyahu and George Papandreou on a cruise near the isle of Poros, 17 August 2010, photo via Flickr CC]. Palestinians ‘Peoplehood’ Based on a Big Lie

editor 11 April 2018

By Eli E. Hertz.. The Palestinians claim that they are an ancient and indigenous people fails to stand up to historic scrutiny. Most Palestinian Arabs were newcomers to British Mandate Palestine. Until the 1967 Six-Day War made it expedient for Arabs to create a Palestinian peoplehood, local Arabs simply considered themselves part of the ‘great Arab nation’ or ‘southern Syrians.’

“Repeat a lie often enough and people will begin to believe it.”
Nazi propaganda master Joseph Goebbels

“All [that Palestinians] can agree on as a community is what they want to destroy, not what they want to build.”
New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman

There is no age-old Palestinian people. Most so-called Palestinians are relative newcomers to the Land of Israel. (more…)

Israel Puts Iran On Notice – The warning that the Al Kibar strike sends out

editor 5 April 2018

By Ari Lieberman.. Israel’s recent disclosure that its air force reduced Syria’s Al Kibar atomic bomb facility to rubble came across as one of the worst kept secrets in modern history. International media outlets had already published detailed accounts of the successful strike and even former president George W. Bush made reference to the raid in his memoirs. The reasons for the formal acknowledgement now, 11 years after the fact are threefold. First, as already noted, everyone and their uncle knew Israel was responsible so there was no point in maintaining continued silence on the issue. (more…)

What Is a “Refugee”? The Jews from Morocco versus the Palestinians from Israel

editor 15 March 2018

By Alan M. Dershowitz.. The Arab exodus from Israel in 1948 was the direct result of a genocidal war declared against the newly established Jewish state by all of its Arab neighbors, including the Arabs of Israel. Approximately 700,000 local Arabs were displaced. Approximately the same number of Jews were displaced from their Arab homelands during this period. Nearly all of them could trace their heritage back thousands of years, well before the Muslims and Arabs became the dominant population. By The Straits Times.. Is Arab Realism Finally Breaking Out?

editor 5 December 2017

By Melanie Phillips.. Yet more Arabs have been making startlingly positive statements about Israel and the Jews.

In an interview broadcast by the Kuwaiti Alrai TV channel last week, Kuwaiti writer Abdullah al Hadlaq declared that the State of Israel was not an occupying force but represented “a people returning to its promised land”. He went further, declaring that the Jews had a right to the land of Israel according to the Koran: (more…)

Waiting for Uncle Sam

editor 25 November 2017

By Daniel C. Kurtzer.. For decades, the United States has billed itself as an “honest broker” in the Palestinian-Israeli peace talks. Ten principles for renewing confidence in U.S. leadership, and the Arab-Israeli peace process. Is it still reasonable to believe that a peace settlement, brokered by the United States, is possible between Israel and the Palestinians? The historical record and conventional contemporary analysis would argue “no.” (more…)
