UNRWA: the Greatest Obstacle to Peace

editor 16 February 2018

By Gregg Roman – Israel Hayom.. U.S. President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address (January 30, 2018), alongside reports that his administration intends to put an end to the problematic definition of Palestinian refugeeism by which descendants of refugees are also granted refugee status, constitutes an important turning point in efforts to settle the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. MPs’ brilliant answers to hypocritical singling out of Israel’s arrests of minors

editor 13 February 2018

By Christians United for Israel (CUFI).. John Howell MP was among a number of MPs that provided brilliant responses in defence of Israel during a debate in Westminster Hall today (Wednesday 7, 2018). The debate titled ‘Military detention of Palestinian children by Israeli authorities’ included incredibly hostile speeches in a room full of mostly anti-Israel MPs. However the MP for Henley challenged the hypocrisy by revealing the figures of juvenile arrests made by Britain during the 2011 riots. Other MPs also shared the truth about the threats Israel face and unjust singling out of Israel. FANTASTIC! (more…)

Palestinians: The Atrocities No One Talks About

editor 8 February 2018

By Khaled Abu Toameh.. Why the need to keep reminding the world of the plight of the Palestinians in Syria? It is because the international community and pro-Palestinian groups around the world do not seem to care about the atrocities that are being committed against Palestinians in Syria or any Arab country because they were not committed by Israel. The 82-year-old Mahmoud Abbas, meanwhile, has made clear where his priorities stand. Instead of searching for ways to help his people in Syria and the Gaza Strip, where hospitals are facing a deathly shortage of fuel and medicine, Abbas has just spent $50 million to purchase a “presidential plane.” [Photo top right: The Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp in Syria has been under siege by the Syrian army for more than 1,660 days. Time for Trump to cut the cord on the Palestinians 01/19/2018

editor 27 January 2018

By Caroline Glick.. For decades, Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas has been touted by American leaders as a moderate man of peace. U.S. leaders from George W. Bush to Barack Obama, and from Condoleezza Rice to John Kerry, all insisted that Abbas is the Palestinian leader who will make an historic deal with Israel. President Donald Trump has met three times with Abbas since taking office. On Sunday night (January 14, 2018), Abbas showed them what he really thinks. He cursed Trump saying that the U.S. President’s “house should be destroyed.” (more…)

NEW DELHI — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s comments that Israel killed the Oslo accords by saying that his remarks did Israel a service. Netanyahu, speaking to Israeli journalists in his entourage during his visit to India, also said that he supports economic relief for the Gaza Strip. (more…)

Free the Palestinians: End UNRWA funding

editor 13 January 2018

By Shoshana Bryen.. It is time to resolve the issue of the imprisoned Palestinian population. The one imprisoned by the United Nations and its own unrealistic vision of the future. President Donald Trump’s announcement that the U.S. contribution to United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) could be eliminated might be the catalyst important and positive changes, if people can get over the moaning and crying about killing poor refugee babies. It’s not likely. (more…)

Tapes Reveal Egyptian Leaders’ Tacit Acceptance of Jerusalem Move

editor 10 January 2018

By David D. Kirkpatrick.. As President Trump moved last month to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, an Egyptian intelligence officer quietly placed phone calls to the hosts of several influential talk shows in Egypt. “Like all our Arab brothers,” Egypt would denounce the decision in public, the officer, Capt. Ashraf al-Kholi, told the hosts. But strife with Israel was not in Egypt’s national interest, Captain Kholi said. He told the hosts that instead of condemning the decision, they should persuade their viewers to accept it. Palestinians, he suggested, should content themselves with the dreary West Bank town that currently houses the Palestinian Authority, Ramallah. So close and yet so far

editor 23 December 2017

By Nadav Shragai.. King Herod’s grand Third Palace is being systematically destroyed by the Palestinians, who are stripping its stone and building homes around it. The site is in Area A, meters from Israeli-controlled territory, but the Israeli  government can do nothing. Here is a lesson that teaches us how the Palestinians today treat remnants of the past. Following the revolt led by Mattityahu and his sons (the Macabbees) against the Greeks in 167 BCE, Jews had sovereignty in the Land of Israel for some 200 years, until the Herodian era. The British and European Perfidy

editor 22 December 2017

By Melanie Phillips.. Twenty-four hours after President Trump’s watershed speech recognising Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, there has been predictable Palestinian violence and equally predictable, almost unanimous condemnation from Western European leaders and the western left. What needs to be understood is that the former is symbiotically connected to the latter. As I said in my blog post yesterday, the Palestinians use violence in order to get a reaction that advances their agenda. (more…)

Israeli Jewish lawyer represents 50 Palestinian torture victims because other “Human Rights” organisations refuse

editor 8 December 2017

By Christians United For Israel (CUFI).. A Jewish lawyer, who the media would describe decoratively as a “far-right settler”, has come to the aid of fifty Palestinians who were tortured by the Palestinian Authority.

The victims, all Palestinian Arabs, were jailed, beaten, kidnapped, tortured, some even raped, and others killed by their own government, because they were suspected of working with Israel. And the most shocking part is that 230, so-called, Human Rights Organisations have turned them down when they were asked to help. (more…)
