History Lessons from Years Under Islamism

editor 22 February 2018

By Majid Rafizadeh.. My father’s generation in Iran lived in an environment in which the Islamist party of the country’s clergy cunningly depicted themselves as intending no harm, supportive of the people, and not interested in power. So, before the revolution, many Iranians did not think that Khomeini’s party would be committing the atrocities that they are committing now or that they would have such an unrelenting hunger for power. Instead, during this time, the country thought it was on a smooth path towards democracy, with no expectation of ever returning to a barbaric era. Even the then-US President Jimmy Carter viewed Khomeini as a good religious holy man. A Jewish-Catholic Partnership against Islamist Violence?

editor 29 September 2017

By Lawrence A. Franklin.. The Pope’s failure vociferously to denounce Islam-based violence concerns many among both Church hierarchy and lay people. The pope’s statements regarding Islam and his refusal directly to discuss mounting Christian martyrdom in Muslim lands defy credulity. Whether his words are wilful blindness, innocent naiveté, or intellectual ignorance of the nature of Islam itself, it is confusing many of the faithful. France: Emmanuel Macron, “Useful Idiot” of Islamism

editor 11 May 2017

By Yves Mamou.. Emmanuel Macron, a “Useful Infidel,” is not a supporter of terrorism or Islamism. It is worse: he does not even see the threat. Louizi’s article (Mohamed Louizi, author of the book “Why I Quit Muslim Brotherhood”, ed.), gave names and dates, explaining how Macron’s political movement has largely been infiltrated by Muslim Brotherhood militants. Is Macron an open promoter of Islamism in France? It is more politically correct to say that he is a “globalist” and an “open promoter of multiculturalism”. As such, he does not consider Islamism a national threat because the French nation, or, as he has said, French culture, does not really exist. The Jewish Story: The Rising Crescent

editor 10 February 2017

By Rabbi Mike Feuer.. The rise of Islam will offer new opportunities and pose new challenges for the survival of Am Yisrael. On one hand, the struggle to claim the title of true Israel which dominates life in the Christian world will be absent. On the other, the ease of cultural fusion with Islam will sometime cause confusion about where one leaves off and the other begins. (more…)
